How We Curate Happy Hours
Twin Cities Happy Hour is built for accuracy, not coverage for coverage’s sake. We dig past thin scrapes so you can trust the hours and specials on the page.
How we verify
We start with primary sources — venue websites, menus, chalkboard and menu photos, and public social. When those conflict or don’t tell the real story, we call and visit as a Twin Cities team. Maps helps us find places; it doesn’t prove the deal.
Why hyper local
We’re focused on Minneapolis, St. Paul, and nearby suburbs so we can be thorough. Expanding everywhere would mean guessing more and checking less.
What we won’t invent
No fake specials, no ghost locations, no vibes dressed up as data. If we can’t support it, it doesn’t go on the listing.
What the dates mean
Verified or Updated means the last time we checked that listing’s hours and specials — not that someone was in the room today, and not that every bar gets a weekly visit.
Rotating notes vs. fixed deals
Chalkboard specials and “ask your server” notes aren’t the same as a clear, recurring happy hour. We try not to treat them like a locked-in deal.
Report an update
Think we missed something? Tell us — free, always. It keeps the directory honest. You can use Report an update on any venue page or email us.
